For the 2018 model year, the redesigned Buick Regal will give buyers even more options than before. The new model will come in two distinct body styles with purpose-built designs and features.
The first model is the 2018 Buick Regal Sportback. This model has a coupe-like design to give it a sleek, athletic look. It still has four doors for passengers along with a fifth liftback door for easy access to cargo. In fact, with the rear seats up, the Regal Sportback offers 31.5 cubic feet of cargo space—more than double what the 2017 Regal model offers.
In addition to greater versatility, the Sportback has a driver-focused cabin with lots of available options to give the Sportback a more engaging drive.
For drivers who yearn for outdoor adventure, the all-new 2018 Buick Regal TourX model comes with plenty of standard features to make that happen. For starters, it has a taller ride height with more ground clearance. Buyers will also appreciate its standard roof rails, standard all-wheel drive, durable exterior design, and strong turbocharged engine.
The 2018 Buick Regal Sportback will be coming to DeVoe Buick GMC this fall, while the TourX model will arrive by the end of the year.
We at DeVoe Buick GMC are thrilled by the spy pictures of the upcoming 2017 Opel/Vauzhall Insignia. You may be asking why we are excited since those aren’t brands we have here in the US. Well…the Insignia is basically a twin of the 2018 Buick Regal, only differing in name and powertrain options.
Both the Insignia and Regal are based on the updated version of GM’s E2XX architecture. This means that the interior will most likely be lengthen, and the overall vehicle weight will be lessened.
The new instrument panel has two large pods at an angle, which appears modernly organized. The current panel is often thought of as overly busy, so the new design helps streamline and de-clutter the center console. There are only two rows of buttons under the touchscreen display, which proves GM’s intent to simplify and streamline.
There are also rumors of the new Insignia and Regal having a hybrid powertrain option, a possible turbocharged V6, and even a potential all-wheel drive. The rumors also point out that GM is testing a five-door liftback version and a station wagon version of the Insignia, so we’ll see which body styles make it to the Regal.
For now, we’ll try to wait patiently until more details are released. Of course, feel free to come to DeVoe Buick GMC to see the current Regal, which is still a fantastic choice.
Every 2016 Buick model comes with standard 4G LTE connectivity, making it easy to stay connected, whether that be access to music, social media, navigation, or now, audio books. Buick and Audiobooks.com have announced that Buick owners who are subscribed to the OnStar service will qualify for two free audiobook downloads through the end of next year.
The two free audio books will be available through OnStar’s AtYourService concierge service, which also provides location-based offers and the ability to book hotel rooms through Priceline.com. For 2016 Buick Regal or LaCrosse owners, the service will be provided through the integration of Apple CarPlay.

We’ve heard the story before. You came to DeVoe Buick GMC for your scheduled test drive of that Buick you’ve had your eye on for the past few months.
Unfortunately, it’s been one of those days: you were late to pick up the kids from summer camp, which also meant you were late to her doctor’s appointment and his swim practice. Of course, that made you 20 minutes late for your test drive appointment and your mind is everywhere but focused on the luxurious vehicle you now get to drive for only 40 minutes before you have to retrace your steps and pick up the kids.
While it doesn’t take long to fall in love with a Buick, the automaker recognizes that it helps to be able to spend more time with the vehicle, especially when that time is relatively free of stress and you can enjoy driving. That’s why the 24-hour test drive program not only allows you to drive through your everyday routine during that 24 hours; it also provides participants with advice on reducing stress and experiencing the happiness that comes from driving a Buick.
Exclusive online content is available to promote a happy driving experience, including a recipe for a custom in-car fragrance, basic yoga exercises for a relaxing ride, and more.
Go ahead. Forget about your almost-missed test drive and add the Buick 24-Hours of Happiness Test Drive to your schedule as soon as possible.
It has recently come to our attention that Buick filed applications to add a Sport Touring trademark on the Regal and LaCrosse models. We’re excited to see what’s about to happen with the new models; two new options sound great to us!
GM Inside News first broke the information and reported that both trademarks were dated April 27th. They were filed specifically for the Regal and LaCrosse, giving us hope that we’ll soon see a new trim or special edition.
The current Buick Regal is available in four trim levels and the LaCrosse in five. The Regal GS is one of the most powerful vehicles in the lineup. If a Sport Touring edition makes its way into the lineup, it has the potential to take Regal and LaCrosse to the next level of power and performance.
If you’re interested in learning more about the current Buick lineup, or the potential of the Sport Touring, come visit DeVoe Buick GMC.
Buick and GMC enjoyed their best November performances since the early 2000s, with Buick sales rising 13.8 percent and GMC sales rising 31.1 percent, marking the latter’s 10th consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains.
While numerous vehicles helped Buick achieve its best November in more than ten years, it was one standout vehicle that made it happen for GMC—the new, heavy-duty 2015 Sierra.
With sales of 22,458, the Sierra was up 57 percent for the month, marking its best November ever and helping GMC sell a total of 43,854 trucks.
Over at Buick, customers were drawn to the LaCrosse, Regal, and Verano, with sales increasing 53 percent, 32 percent, and 22.5 percent, respectively. The vehicle that made the biggest impact was the Encore SUV, which continued to bring new customers to Buick and enjoyed a 55.7 percent rise in sales.
2015 Buick Verano – A November Sales Winner for Buick
Come to DeVoe Buick GMC to find out for yourself just why Buick and GMC November sales are at their best since the early 2000s!
While other automakers such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz may appear to be the best when it comes to luxury, Consumer Reports says that they have some stiff competition. Consumer Reports even went as far as saying, “the latest Buick Regal is about the equal of much more expensive [brands].”
Here at DeVoe Buick GMC, we couldn’t agree more that the 2014 Regal offers the power, performance, and luxury that you would expect from its German competitors. The all-new Regal is, however, able to offer everything at an affordable price which is what really sets it apart from the others.
Drivers everywhere are happy that Buick has decided to go back to its roots by offering sporty luxury. Buicks aren’t just your grandma’s grocery-getter anymore. When it comes to performance the Regal beat out the Volvo S60, tied the Mercedes-Benz C250, and came within a point of the class leader – the BMW 328i.

Buick had a great month in June and the team here at DeVoe Buick GMC is proud to contribute! The brand experienced an 18% increase compared to June of 2013. This was the best June the brand has experienced since 2006. There were three clear winners for the month in terms of increases. The Encore, Regal, and LaCrosse all posted great sales for the month.
The Encore experienced an 82% increased in year-over-year sales. Drivers love the feel of an SUV in a smaller package. The Encore also received the highest rankings in its segment in J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study (in a tie). This shows that customers are happy with their purchase long after the initial sale.
The LaCrosse also experienced a great month posting a 14% increase from May and a 33% increase in sales compared to June of 2013. Along with the LaCrosse, the Regal posted an exceptional month with a 26% increase in year-over-year sales. Customers love the feel of the redesigned Buick!

We love it when car reviewers from big organizations get behind the wheel of cars we sell to see what they think. Most of the time we see nothing but glowing reviews! And a glowing review is exactly what we got from the New York Times earlier this month on the 2014 Buick Regal.
Mr. Tom Voelk had this to say about the new and improved Regal after his extended test drive:
“The Regal’s handsome lines and capable sport sedan moves are what interest (my son). The car — sold in Europe as the Opel Insignia — is also quiet, comfortable and, at $38,270 as tested, stuffed with technology that was science fiction in the ‘60s.”
So it’s loaded with technology, looks cool, is quiet and comfortable, and is appealing to a wide range of age groups? Awesome!
whether you are looking for a nice luxury car as you start your career, or you’re just getting settled into retirement, the 2014 Buick Regal deserves a good hard look. Come take one for a test drive of your own at DeVoe Buick GMC in Naples today!
We may not have to deal with too much snow here in Florida (thankfully!), but we still wanted to take a second and show you all this video. Take a second to check out the 2014 Buick Regal’s All-Wheel drive system in action in the video below:
Pretty impressive, isn’t it! And again, even though we don;t have to deal with too much snow and ice compared to other parts of the country, there’s nothing like having peace of mind while you’re behind the wheel. Whether the road is covered in snow, ice, or rain on a slick road, the new 2014 Buick Regal has the technology to keep you and all your precious cargo safe.
