The new 2016 Buick Enclave will be equipped with OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi so you can officially connect from anywhere inside the vehicle! The built-in Wi-Fi hotspot will effectively connect up to seven devices within the Enclave.
4G LTE connectivity is 10-times faster than 3G and it’s 100-times faster than the OnStar technology previously offered. The Wi-Fi signal is also much stronger than other phones that are connected to the same network.
Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick, said, “Customers’ daily lives are so entwined with personal devices, so the addition of OnStar 4G LTE and its integral Wi-Fi hotspot is a feature they will rely on. It allows busy people to stay connected throughout the day and provides another outlet for passenger entertainment on long trips.”
The new technology will now be standard across the entire Buick lineup, including the new Enclave, Verano, and Regal. Visit DeVoe Buick GMC for more information on the upcoming, Wi-Fi-enabled 2016 Buick Enclave.
The Buick Verano, Encore, and Enclave have each won Kelley Blue Book’s 2015 5-Year Cost to Own awards in their respective segments.
This is the second consecutive year that three Buick models are named in the annual awards, which are based on Kelley Blue Book’s data for initial five-year ownership period.
The data includes lowest projected depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state registration fees. All-in-all, it’s a pretty comprehensive compilation of data that should give customers a good idea about how much money they’ll be spending on their vehicle over the course of the first five years of ownership.
Kelley Blue Book predicts that owning a Buick Verano can save you about $9,236 over that time compared to an average entry-level luxury car, while the Encore can save you about $14,370 compared to the average luxury compact SUV/crossover, and the Enclave can save you $17,509 compared to the average luxury full-size SUV/crossover.

The latest J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study ranked Buick as one of the most dependable brands and also ranked three GMC models highest in their segments. Buick jumped up three spots—placing 2nd overall—and GMC was ranked as the 10th most dependable brand.
The GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, and Terrain ranked highest in their respective segments, bringing about more positive attention for the brand.
Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing, said, “The momentum continues at GMC with this recognition. We expect all of our vehicles to perform at the highest level every time a customer gets behind the wheel and this achievement validates our commitment to dependability and reliability.”
In addition to the GMCs, the Buick LaCrosse and Enclave were also ranked highest in their segment. All of this recognition from J.D. Satellite radio is one of those things that once you try it, you’re hooked. Who wouldn’t be with “channels and channels of commercial-free music, all your favorite sports, exclusive talk and entertainment, traffic, weather, travel and more”? With over 150 channels, what satellite radio gives you is choice. How many times have you listened to music or news on terrestrial radio, not because it was good, but because it was just slightly better than the other three stations available?
Pick up the 2015 Buick Enclave—outfitted with SiriusXM on Intellilink—and make use of its powerful navigation feature with the most updated traffic information. Or wrap your hands around the heated steering wheel, sit back and rock out to that obscure college rock that you’d never find on terrestrial radio.
The crossover segment is currently one of the most rapidly growing segments in the car industry, making it no surprise that many carmakers are increasing the production rate of their crossover vehicles. General Motors is no exception to this and has recently invested $63 million in a Lansing Lambda CUV plant expansion. This plant builds some of GM’s most popular crossovers, such as the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave.
“UAW members have a proud history of building quality vehicles in the Lansing Delta Township plant and they look forward to the changes and upgrades made possible by what workers and management are able to achieve by working together,” said UAW Vice President Cindy Estrada, who directs the union’s national GM Department. “The investment in the plant and in UAW Local 602 members means workers will have an updated environment in which they can continue delivering quality workmanship for years to come.”

This new expansion will increase the plant’s floor space by roughly 263,000 square feet. Of that space, 181,000 will be dedicated for an updated body shop with cutting-edge robots. The rest of the space will be delegated to a paint show and an area for general assembly.
With this new space, it’s possible that GM might introduce a new crossover to its lineup. Make sure you check back to DeVoe Buick GMC later to see if there has been a new addition!
2014 Buick Encore – Available now at DeVoe Buick GMC!
Drivers everywhere are choosing Buick for its affordable luxury. One of the most popular models is the 2014 Encore compact crossover. The Encore is perfect for those who like to sit high like in an SUV while maintaining great efficiency and enjoying the convenience of a smaller car. Motor Authority recently released an article stating that Buick may be introducing a new crossover!
The Buick Envision Crossover is set to be available sometime in 2015, but will start out in the Chinese market. Speculators show that the Envision Crossover will fit just between the Encore and Enclave. It is slightly bigger than the Encore, but not quite as big as the Enclave. Interior features include a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, noise canceling system, and leather accentuated accents.
Buick suspected new crossover is powered by a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The Envision will have Buick’s FlexRide suspension system which will give drivers the ability to switch between four distinct driving modes.
Here at DeVoe we hope that the Envision will be available here in the U.S. soon, until then we will wait for its official unveiling on August 28th! Stay tuned…
Last month Consumer Reports came out with a list of the highest-scoring American vehicles, and we are happy to announce that Buick made, not one, but two appearances on that list! Essentially, this list consisted of 14 vehicular categories, ranging from wagon to minivan, and an American-made vehicle was named as the best for each category. So which ones did Buick win? Great question!
The Buick Regal CXL (turbo) came out on top in the “upscale sedan” category, while the Buick Enclave took the top spot in the “luxury SUV” category. So the bottom line is, if you’re looking for a luxury vehicle that was built in America, you need a Buick. Stop by DeVoe Buick GMC in Naples and let us help you find the car or SUV that suits you best!

At the reveal of the 2013 Buick Enclave, Buick’s VP of Marketing Tony DiSalle had a few words to say about how far the Enclave has come over the years. According to DiSalle, “We sold more Enclaves last year than we ever have before. That told us that consumers are continuing to discover this wonderful vehicle.” Di Salle goes on to say, “The 2013 Enclave is absolutely gorgeous. You can see the sophisticated elegant exterior and beautiful sculptured design, evolving the design that really brought the renaissance of the Buick brand home with the introduction of the first Enclave 5 years ago.” Check out the video below to see it for yourself:
