The 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 is bursting with exciting updates, including expanded powertrain options, new technology, and more features for business owners and other professionals than ever.
The new Sierra 1500 will make the 3.0-liter Duramax® turbo-diesel engine available for the full model year, and it will be an option on the CarbonPro™ Editions, which previously only featured the 6.2-liter V8 engine. The 5.3-liter V8 also gets an update — it can now be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
GMC has made a range of updates to the trailering updates as well, with available Enhanced ProGrade Trailering with 15 camera views and segment-first transparent trailer view. Additionally, the in-vehicle Trailering App lets users create trailer profiles through their myGMC mobile app, as well as monitor the fuel level of a trailer, turn on the air conditioning, and more.
Also among the 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 updates are new technologies like Adaptive Cruise Control — Camera, which uses a camera mounted above the rearview mirror to keep track of the distance to the car directly ahead. Plus, the Sierra can now support SiriusXM™ with 360L.
The Sierra 1500 will now offer the Elevation trim in Crew Cab configuration, and new trailer tow mirrors are available.
The 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 will be available soon at DeVoe Buick GMC. Visit us and learn when you can expect to take one for a test drive.
