Preview of the 2015 GMC Yukon
GM literally cannot wait to release the 2015 GMC Yukon—that’s how excited they are about their commitment to the full-size SUV segment. The 2015 GMC Yukon, expected to hit dealers as early as February 2014, will come in three grades: the Yukon, Yukon XL, and Denali. The 2015 models see extensive and significant upgrades to many areas of the SUV, including fuel efficiency, power, safety, and technology.
“We’ve engineered the Yukon and Yukon XL from the ground up,” Tony DiSalle, vice president of GMC Marketing, said in a press release, “building on a strong legacy of capability to take them to the top of the segment with exceptional refinement and purposeful technology. And when it comes to the tasks people rely on a full-size SUV for, they do it better than ever—and with more style.” A definite full-size SUV, the Yukon delivers roominess, storage space, and towing capacity at segment-leading levels packaged in a sleek exterior, especially for such a large vehicle.
The 2015 Yukon gets a big boost from GMC’s new EcoTec3 engine—the Yukon and Yukon XL come with a 5.3L engine while the Denali bumps it up to a 6.2L engine. You can either wait till February to check out this graceful beast for yourself, or you can come down to DeVoe Buick GMC in Naples, Florida today and check out the Yukon and Yukon Denali today.
