Spring Car Maintenance Tips
Isn’t it just so nice to live in Florida? Car maintenance is a lot easier in many ways down here in comparison to other parts of the country. Perhaps the most obvious benefit is the lack of salt on the roads, We don’t need to worry about constantly washing salt off our cars in an effort to avoid rust. However, there are some auto maintenance practices that everyone should do when winter is over no matter what part of the country you live in:
- Empty your car of any unnecessary weight. Things tend to pile up cars over the winter and this can negatively affect your MPG. In short, get all the junk out of your trunk and get more out of your gas tank.
- Spring is typically the rainiest season. Make sure your windshield wipers, both in the front and back, are up to snuff.
- Check your fluids. This is a good tip to remember just in general. If you can remember to check your fluids at the changing of the seasons and top them off whenever necessary, your car will thank you.
That’s all we have for now!
