If you’re looking for something a little closer to home, check out BaconFest Naples on November 12th. Net proceeds go toward ending child hunger in Southwest Florida. This event is for all ages, and admission is just $10. You can sample unique and exotic bacon preparations, as well as classic fried bacon. If you live in Naples, Florida and are looking for something to do the evening of Independence Day, why not come to the fireworks show at the Naples Pier at the West end of 12th Avenue? It’s an annual tradition to celebrate July 4th in Naples with fireworks displays, music, and the beautiful sight of the Florida coastline along the Gulf of Mexico.
The fireworks show is set to begin at 9:00pm after sunset, but guests are permitted to come earlier to set up any blankets, towels, or lawn chairs anywhere between Lowdermilk Park and Naples Beach. The music for the event will be broadcasted through the WAVV 101.1 FM radio station so viewers can listen while enjoying the fireworks shows choreographed to the playlist.
If you want a one-of-a-kind experience, make sure to check reservations for sightseeing boats in the area a few days ahead of time, as well. Some boat reservations are available for visitors who wish to enjoy the fireworks display on the open ocean!
Admission for the event is entirely free. Parking is first-come, first-serve, and areas marked “No Parking” will be strictly patrolled by law enforcement. Police will be present at the event to direct traffic. No personal fireworks such as sparklers are permitted, but coolers with snacks and beverages are allowed.

The Naples Botanical Garden, with over 170 acres of property, is one of the most popular points of interest in the area surrounding Naples, Florida. The gardens have seven distinct ecosystems with over 1,000 species of plants, making it one of the most extensive in the region.
According to the Naples Botanical Garden website, the gardens have been around since 1993 and were officially incorporated in 1994. Exhibits and shows are frequently held at the gardens, including a LEGO flower display, opera performances, dog walks, and more. Plus, the facility also has resources for conservation education and gardening tips and classes.
You can become a sustaining member or simply go for a visit this weekend. The website contains a section on what is currently in bloom, giving you facts and information about what you will see when you visit the botanical gardens.
