According to Paradise Coast, one of the must-see events in the area is the upcoming Marco Craft Beer & Fine Food festival on November 6th. You can sample more than 25 craft beers from the area, from half-a-dozen local breweries. Each beer will be paired with delectable dishes from local Marco Island restaurants. General admission is $50, though it also comes with unlimited food, beer tastings, a beer glass, and more. Just be sure to get a designated driver if you plan on drinking!
If you’re looking for something a little closer to home, check out BaconFest Naples on November 12th. Net proceeds go toward ending child hunger in Southwest Florida. This event is for all ages, and admission is just $10. You can sample unique and exotic bacon preparations, as well as classic fried bacon. If you love bacon (who are we kidding, who doesn’t love bacon?), mark this on your calendar!

If you live in Naples, Florida and are looking for something to do the evening of Independence Day, why not come to the fireworks show at the Naples Pier at the West end of 12th Avenue? It’s an annual tradition to celebrate July 4th in Naples with fireworks displays, music, and the beautiful sight of the Florida coastline along the Gulf of Mexico.
The fireworks show is set to begin at 9:00pm after sunset, but guests are permitted to come earlier to set up any blankets, towels, or lawn chairs anywhere between Lowdermilk Park and Naples Beach. The music for the event will be broadcasted through the WAVV 101.1 FM radio station so viewers can listen while enjoying the fireworks shows choreographed to the playlist.
If you want a one-of-a-kind experience, make sure to check reservations for sightseeing boats in the area a few days ahead of time, as well. Some boat reservations are available for visitors who wish to enjoy the fireworks display on the open ocean!
Admission for the event is entirely free. Parking is first-come, first-serve, and areas marked “No Parking” will be strictly patrolled by law enforcement. Police will be present at the event to direct traffic. No personal fireworks such as sparklers are permitted, but coolers with snacks and beverages are allowed.

Waterside Shop’s Boo Bash 2015. On October 30th from 5:30PM to 7:30PM, come enjoy this free family-friendly event at the Waterside Shop in Naples. There will be trick-or-treating, face painting, jugglers, balloon art, costumed characters, and more.
- Monster Mash. Head to The Village on Venetian Bay on October 31st from 1:00PM to 4:00PM for this great Halloween event. It is free and includes arts and crafts, face painting, trick-or-treating, and even wild animals from the Kowiachobee Animal Preserve.
- Spooktacular on 5th. This free, family-friendly event is right along 5th Avenue South. It includes costume contests for all ages and pets, trick-or-treating, live music, crafts, and so much more. It will be held on October 31st from 4:30PM through 9:30PM.

If you’re looking for something to do in Fort Myers this weekend, head down to the Bell Tower Shops for the Fort Myers Craft Beer and Music Festival. Taking place on Saturday September 12th from 3pm to 8pm, the festival gives attendees the opportunity to sample craft beers while enjoying music by local artists.
For a $30 general admission ticket, you get a tasting glass, a “tasting passport,” and a handy guide to the different beers being offered at the Craft Beer and Music Festival. A VIP ticket gets you unlimited beer samplings as well as VIP seating and restrooms.
The Craft Beer and Music Festival is ideally located near many shops and restaurants in the Bell Tower Shops parking lot, so food is easily accessible to festival-goers. The event even offers a cheaper ticket for designated drivers and attendees under 21 years old who won’t be drinking so they can still enjoy the concert.
