In the hot, muggy weather that a summer in Florida brings, you’ll want to plan a few trips to the beach. Here are some beaches in and around Naples that you’ll want to head to this summer.
Clam Pass County Park
This secluded beachfront is tucked away in mangroves, and you’ll access it by a tram that drives across a boardwalk. You’ll want to go here if you love nature, because you’ll be among marine and plant life, especially in the tidal bay area.
This place is great for families, especially if you’re bringing young children to the beach. It has a host of full-service facilities and lets you picnic in the gazebo. There are also two playgrounds, a duck bond, plenty of showers and bathrooms, and sand volleyball courts!
Sugden Regional Park
If you’re over salt water, then you’re in luck! Sugden is home to the only public freshwater lake in the Naples area. It’s called Avalon Lake, and not only can you swim here, but you can also rent equipment for water sports and take sailing lessons!
