Dirt and grime can play an insidious role in
the wear-and-tear that comes with owning an aging vehicle. Dead bugs and bird
droppings can even be acidic enough to wear off your vehicle’s paint job! It’s
easier to prevent paint from wearing away than to get it touched up, so getting
regular washes to preserve the look of your car helps in the long run.
Paint jobs are purely cosmetic, but rust
isn’t, and salt build-up can actually corrode the metal in a vehicle and cause
rust. Since we’re located in Florida, we aren’t exposed to road salt used to
prevent snow storms as often, but we do live in a damp and salty climate due to
the ocean! Make sure to wash your car to stave off salt build-up.
When you regularly wash your car to keep the
paint in good condition and minimize rust and corrosion, the resale value of
your vehicle goes up in the long term. If you’re planning on trading in your
car eventually, investing in regular washes and detailings.
If you want to get your vehicle professionally detailed and looking good, stop into DeVoe Buick GMC and we’ll get you squared away.

Perhaps the most exciting upgrade is the addition of the

twin-clutch all-wheel drive. Primed for off-road adventure, the AT4 gets
exclusive 17-inch wheels (or optional 20-inch wheels) wrapped in all-terrain

When you live in Florida and feel the urge to hit the beach, there’s really only one problem: which one to choose. The Sunshine State features the finest coastlines in the US. Here’s a list of the top five best beaches in Florida.
# 5 – Destin – A number of features make Destin one of the most attractive beaches in the state. There’s the pure white sand, its affordability and its constant sunshine.
# 4 – Sanibel Island – Off the coast of Fort Myers is Sanibel Island. This is where you can go when you want to avoid Spring Breakers and enjoy some quality quiet time with the family.
# 3 – Key West – Part of the fun of Key West is getting there, as you get to drive the phenomenally scenic Overseas Highway. Once you’re down there, the party never stops.
# 2 – St. Petersburg – They don’t call St. Petersburg the Sunshine City for nothing. The town bears the distinction of holding the Florida record for most consecutive days of sunshine.
# 1 – Naples – Some might argue that the best part of Naples has nothing to do with sand. They might be right, but that’s a hard argument—the beaches here are not only open to the public, they are simply gorgeous. Naples offers the all-around treatment with great restaurants, interesting attractions and superb golf courses.
