Buick raised the bar with the first-ever Buick Envision, a model that perfectly balanced powerful performance and fuel efficiency. And now, the second edition of the stunning model is on the way: the 2017 Buick Envision.
A 4G Wi-Fi Hotspot is just the beginning of the 2017 Buick Envision tech updates, with a long list of safety features plus surround vision to ensure your peace of mind behind the wheel and when parking.
Plus, the sizable model is set to be remarkably fuel-efficient despite its ability to carry the whole family and all their assorted cargo, while earning up to 29 mpg on the highway. And with a long list of available trim levels, there is sure to be a Buick Envision ideal for every driver.
The 2017 Buick Envision will be available as early as fall 2016, so if you are interested in getting behind the wheel of one of these models, contact us or visit DeVoe Buick GMC.
Following its success as a China-exclusive model, the Buick Envision crossover will be debuting in the United States this upcoming summer as a 2016 model year. Buick’s crossover sales current make up 65% of the brand’s sales overall, making the decision to import the Envision–which will fill a niche between the Enclave and the Encore–a smart one.
The 2016 Encore is designed and engineered in America, but assembled at Buick’s plant in Shanghai. Featuring GM’s new global architecture for compact vehicles, an upscale look, and seating for five passengers, the new crossover is a luxurious and innovative but family-friendly addition to the company’s lineup. Other features include the standard turbocharged 252-hp Ecotec engine and Buick’s Active Twin Clutch AWD system.
The Buick Envision crossover is said to take some design cues from the rest of the Buick lineup, but with a contemporary edge as the company seeks to target a younger and more modern demographic–the demographic that made the crossover segment in general so wildly successful. With crossover sales dominating Buick’s numbers, the company has good reason to import this new addition to the family. We can’t wait to see it.
We love it when car reviewers from big organizations get behind the wheel of cars we sell to see what they think. Most of the time we see nothing but glowing reviews! And a glowing review is exactly what we got from the New York Times earlier this month on the 2014 Buick Regal.
Mr. Tom Voelk had this to say about the new and improved Regal after his extended test drive:
“The Regal’s handsome lines and capable sport sedan moves are what interest (my son). The car — sold in Europe as the Opel Insignia — is also quiet, comfortable and, at $38,270 as tested, stuffed with technology that was science fiction in the ‘60s.”
So it’s loaded with technology, looks cool, is quiet and comfortable, and is appealing to a wide range of age groups? Awesome!
whether you are looking for a nice luxury car as you start your career, or you’re just getting settled into retirement, the 2014 Buick Regal deserves a good hard look. Come take one for a test drive of your own at DeVoe Buick GMC in Naples today!

What would you do with a 2014 GMC Acadia? Would it change your life? GMC had the opportunity to gift one boy’s mom with the crossover in hopes that it would do just that.
Tyson Wheelock, a 13-year-old boy who has already been faced with tough decisions at his young age, is one of seven stories featured in USA Network’s “NFL Characters Unite” documentary presented by GMC.
Green Bay Packers running back Randall Cobb spent a day with the teen, mentoring and encouraging him to make wise decisions and to be a leader rather than giving in to peer pressure. For Wheelock, we at DeVoe Buick GMC are sure the day was life-changing and one he won’t soon forget.
Wheelock’s mom also experienced a life-changing moment as she accepted the keys to the 2014 GMC Acadia.
“On behalf of GMC partnership with USA Network and Characters Unite, we’d like to provide Nicole with her own Never Say Never moment,” said Sandra Moore, GMC’s director of Advertising and Sales Promotion. “I’m thrilled to hand off these keys to a 2014 GMC Acadia that is now yours. We hope this will help you continue to persevere and strive to achieve the best for your family.”
Now that’s what we call a gift worth giving.
What would you do if someone handed you the keys to a brand new 2014 GMC Acadia free of charge?
To be honest, we’re not 100% sure how the engineers over at Buick were able to pull off what they did with the 2014 Buick Regal. See, the new 2.0L Turbo that comes standard in the 2014 Regal produces 18 percent more horsepower and 13 percent more torque in comparison to the 2013 Regal Turbo. And on top of that, the new Regal Turbo gets 3 more miles per gallon in the city compared to the 2013 Regal Turbo.
Now we understand that might be a little confusing, but to say it simply, the new Buick Regal has somehow added more power without sacrificing MPG. Pretty cool, right?
A Buick press release gives a little more info on the new 2014 Regal, “The new Regal sport sedan also features refreshed exterior and interior styling. It now comes standard with next-generation IntelliLink connectivity including eight-inch color touch display, leather-appointed seating surfaces with heated front seats, rear vision camera, and 18-inch alloy wheels. A suite of active safety technologies including full-speed Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Change Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert is available.”
The 2014 Buick Regal is available now at DeVoe Buick GMC! Stop by today to take one for a test drive.
Summer is a tough time of the year for cars. It’s just plain hot outside and it’s also the time of the year when most people go on long road trips. If you’re not careful, you could easily find yourself on the side of the road with an overheated engine! So that’s why we wanted to do this three part series on summer car maintenance. If you missed the first couple, no problem – you can read them by scrolling down through our blog.
But now, without further ado, we’d like to share with you our last three tips to keep your car at the top of its game during the hot summer months.
Obviously your brakes are the most important safety feature on any car, so, the first tip is to simply check your brakes. Brakes need to be replaced when the pad has been worn down to the minimum thickness as specified by the car manufacture or state law. According to howstuffworks.com, there are several indicators that you need new brakes:
Your brake pedal becomes very soft and mushy
Your brake pedal is very hard and resistant
Your brake pedal rests too low or too high
Indication or warning lights on the dashboard
Loud and constant scraping and grinding sounds coming from the brakes
Next, check the coolant and radiator. Cars are designed to be able to stand quite a bit of heat, however, there is a limit to how hot a car should get. To ensure your car does not exceed that limit, your coolant should be topped off. During the summer, coolant should be a 50/50 mixture of water and antifreeze.
And lastly, clean your battery. Believe it or not, the best way to keep your battery running strong is to keep it clean. Every once in a while detach the battery cables and wipe off the terminals. Also, make sure the battery is securely strapped down and all connections are solid.
There ya have it! And always remember, if you are having any trouble whatsoever keeping your car in peak condition, we’d love to help you out here at DeVoe Automotive. Set up your service appointment, or stop by today!
A couple weeks ago we did a blog post that gave a few tips on how you can best care for your car during the hot summer months. Those tips included checking your tires, changing your oil and oil filter, and changing the air filter in your car (For a more in-depth explanation of these tips, read the post for yourself).
Well today we’d like to add onto that list of summer car maintenance tips! So without further ado, here is part two of “Top Summer Car Maintenance Tips”:
De-winterize your car. For starters, take the snow tires off your car once winter is over. I know, I know – not many people use snow tires these days. Most people just stick to the all-season tires. But if you’ve still got snow tires on your car when you don’t need them, you’re lowering you MPG for no good reason. Other things you can do to de-winterize include changing the oil and topping off all fluids.
Get under the hood and check all the hoses and belts. Belts and hoses are vital to your cars health. If a hose has a leak and cannot get coolant to your car’s engine, your car might overheat and leave you stranded on the side of the road. Be sure to check for cracks in any hose, and weak spot in the belts.
Replace your windshield wipers. Violent thunderstorms can pop up very suddenly during the summertime, so make sure you’re ready. They’re not too expensive, they’re available at most stores with an auto care department, and they’re easy to install. Just do it!
