GMC has released the first of three commercials that are part of the brand’s new “Precision” ad campaign. The series focuses on the necessity of attention to detail across all successful professions and businesses, which is considered a core value for GMC.
“For discerning GMC customers, Professional Grade has evolved to mean exacting attention to detail and fine craftsmanship in everything they do and purchase,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing, in a statement. “Precision is a core attribute of the brand and is reflected in GMC’s continued momentum. GMC’s year-over-year sales gains are a strong indicator that premium GMC attributes resonate with customers who seek more from their vehicles.”
The first commercial, “Fastball,” debuted during an episode of ABC’s murder mystery series Secrets and Lies. Two additional commercials, called “Swish” and “Sharp,” will premier sometime during the year, accompanied by corresponding social media and print content.
This GMC “Precision” ad campaign is the first since the brand’s launch in 2000 to feature the entire GMC lineup. The three commercials point out that attention to detail, precision, and consistency are skills that transcend industries, important to GMC engineers and baseball players alike.
