The 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 is here at last, and the new model comes with quite a new few features. From personal customization options, like paint color, to features that are commonly requested by drivers, this full-size pickup is designed to give customers more for their money. While GMC has added quite a few new features, the automaker has also removed some as well.
The 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 loses the Light Steel Gray Metallic, Iridium Metallic, and Mahogany Metallic colors. As a replacement, the full-size pickup sees the addition of Dark Slate Metallic and Pepperdust Metallic.
As for highly-requested GMC Sierra 1500 features, the truck sees the addition of capless fuel fill and Teen Driver mode with IntelliLink infotainment system to the list of standard features. Low Speed Mitigation Braking also makes its way onto the list. Tri-Mode Power Steps, 18-inch all-season blackwall tires, and a trailer brake controller (SLT Crew Cab Premium Plus Package) all join the list of available options.

Current Buick Regal Available at DeVoe Buick GMC!
It has recently come to our attention that Buick filed applications to add a Sport Touring trademark on the Regal and LaCrosse models. We’re excited to see what’s about to happen with the new models; two new options sound great to us!
GM Inside News first broke the information and reported that both trademarks were dated April 27th. They were filed specifically for the Regal and LaCrosse, giving us hope that we’ll soon see a new trim or special edition.
The current Buick Regal is available in four trim levels and the LaCrosse in five. The Regal GS is one of the most powerful vehicles in the lineup. If a Sport Touring edition makes its way into the lineup, it has the potential to take Regal and LaCrosse to the next level of power and performance.

The Buick Encore has only been on the market for a couple years, but it’s already dominating its small crossover segment. Recently, it was one of the three 2015 Buick vehicles that won a 5-Year Cost to Own Award from KBB.com, and its continued success has the brand thinking big. In fact, the Buick Encore sales have the folks at Buick planning to add more engine options to the vehicle’s lineup very soon.
2015 Buick Encore
Currently, it only has one engine—a capable 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 138 horsepower. But that will likely be changing soon. “I’d be lying if I said we’re not evaluating that,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick and GMC in the US. Aldred didn’t give us any details on what to expect, but we can always speculate on our own.
And speculate we shall! We’d expect to see Buick add a couple new engine options, including things like a 1.6-liter gasoline engine and a 1.6-liter turbodiesel as well. Both of those engines are already used in various ways in the GM lineup, so they would be easily to implement in the new Encore lineup. Come see us at DeVoe Buick GMC to learn more of our thoughts.
